Girls Varsity Soccer

Coach Ruben is in his 10th year at Hayfield, 5th as the Varsity Head Coach. He previously coached Girls Soccer at Lee HS. He is also on his second round of Travel Soccer.  In 2008 he graduated Team America Select, a WAGSL Division 1 Girls Travel team, and in 2009 he started back around the Travel Soccer circle coaching a Travel U9 Boys and a Travel U9 Girls playing in NCSL and WAGSL respectively.  Additionally, he is the Gunston Recreation Soccer League Commissioner.  Originally from Argentina, Coach Ruben attended JEB Stuart HS, from where he graduated in 1979. Attended George Mason University and received a Bachelors degree in Information Systems. He is married to Sandra and has 3 children: Karla ( 24 ), Marcela ( 13 ) and Diego ( 11 ).
