JV Hawks(6-2) come out flat against a hard-hitting McLean team and are buried in 5 innings. Tanner Murray had the only hit in an uncharacteristicly quiet offensive evening. It was the first game this season that the Hawks didn't win the hit battle. A first inning double play from Jacob Keeney to Braeden Muir to Parker Derflinger was the only highlight in a miserable performance in the field and on the mound. We tip our caps to our opponents but know we were far from our best on this evening.
