JV Hawks(7-5) play inspired ball and stun Yorktown.  From the 1st pitch to the last, the entire team was vocal in support of its teammates and won this game simply because they appeared to want it more.  The story has to begin with the tremendous pitching of Zach Askew, who spun a complete game 2-hit shutout.  Of equal importance was great defense, continually rising to the occasion be it on relatively routine plays or spectacular ones.  Among many good ones was a diving catch by Kevin Mial in right field to lead off the home half of the 6th inning.  Kudos are also in line for Nathan Blocker who caught an excellent game and threw out a would-be base stealer at 3rd to kill a rally.  At the plate, Jacob Keeney had 3 blasts (2 doubles and a should-have-been double had he not missed first) and 3 runs.  Tanner Murray had an RBI single in the 1st and later added a booming double.  All in all, a great team win!
