The Hawks overcame early foul trouble to hold off Falls Church on the road, getting exceptional play off the bench from Leon Cureton (15 pts, 6 rebounds). The Jaguars made a 3^rd quarter run to cut the Hawks once-comfortable lead to 2, but Hayfield went on a 24-8 run during the 4^th quarter to break the game open. Reggie Tate contributed 12 pts despite limited playing time due to four 1^st half fouls, and Brandon Winbush lead all scorers with 20 pts.
