Nate McShay scored 14 and Tyler Seelman added 10 as the Hawks fell to South County in the season opener. A late South County run allowed the Stallions to overcome a Hayfield fourth quarter lead and they made their free throws down the stretch as the Hawks were forced to foul. Grant Williams had a fine all around effort, leading the team with 9 rebounds and adding 6 points and 3 assists.
