The Hawks won their first National District game of the season, improving their record to 3-2 with a home win over district rival Mount Vernon. Nate McShay (12 points, 6 rebounds), Garrick Short (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Grant Williams (9 points, 9 rebounds) lead a balanced effort on both offense and the boards. Tyler Seelman contributed 10 points and Chris Johnson had a tremendous defensive effort in the second half, shutting down the Major’s top scorer.
