Hayfield dropped its first game in the Lake Braddock holiday tournament against the host Bruins. The Hawks lead at the end of the 1st quarter and trailed by only three at the half, but a three point barrage by Lake Braddock in the 3rd quarter stretched the lead to a margin from which the Hawks could not come back. Nate McShay led the team with 16 points. Brandon Lawson added 10 points and 3 assists; Tyler Seelman pitched in with 9 points and a team-high 5 assists. Isaiah Glasby also had 9 points and Grant Williams led the effort on the boards with 9 rebounds.
