Hayfield lost on the road at Wakefield, dropping its record in the National District to 2 and 2. While the Hawks held the Warriors well below their normal point production, they struggled to score as well. Nate McShay led the Hawks with 10 points and also had 6 rebounds, while Garrick Short added 9 points and led all players with 15 rebounds, not the least of which was a resounding tip dunk that brought the Hayfield fans who had traveled to Arlington to their feet. Isaiah Glasby pitched in with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Amir Atkins and Chris Johnson contributed valuable minutes, each adding 4 points.
