The JV Hawks began their 2012-2013 regular season, by defeating West Springfield; 52-40. Kyle Phox (14pts, 3 stls) led the Hawks on a breakout 3rd quarter, when he dropped in 8 of the Hawks 20 points. Hayfield outscored West Springfield HS by 12, which equaled the winning margin.
