The JV boys team almost completed the miracle comeback. At one point in the second quarter, we trailed 33-10. Then our players reached deep down in their pride, and started to chip away. The JV Hawks, using our full court press, began to force the Generals of W&L to panic. The boys then went on 17-4 run, to cut the lead to 10 at the half. By the end of the third quarter, our deficit was 3, and with 1 minute left in the 4^th, we were tied at 58. With 5 seconds left, we had the ball, but our shot just fell short. This is the second game at W&L in the last year, where the game was decided on the final shot.

The JV Hawks were led by junior Baz Biniam, who scored 11 pts. and grabbed 7 rebounds, while handing out 4 assists. Sophomore Xavier Canady connected on 3 clutch shots during our furious 2^nd quarter comeback. Junior Tyler Capps (5’9”), who had to play the center for most of the 4^th quarter, snared 3 key offensive rebounds to help the Hawks tie the game.
