The JV Hawks again played a tough game vs. cross town rival Mt. Vernon HS. The last time they prevailed by 10. Unfortunately, the Majors got revenge this time, edging the Hawks by 4. The Hawks came close several times, but could not get the last defensive stop needed to tie the game.
The Hawks were led by reserve PG Tyler Thornton (10pts. 2 stls.), and reserve F Kendrick Mack (10 pts. 4 stls.). Sophomore C Richmond Williams (8pts. 6rebs. 3 blks.) continued his steady season, where he has averaged just under 8 rebs per game. The Hawks play their final game of the year, at Jeb Stuart on Thursday
