Outstanding Play(s): The JV Hawks returned home for the first time in 2 weeks, to extend their current win streak to 2 in a row, and improve to 8-2 overall, with a 58-23 victory over the visiting JV Raiders from Stuart HS. The JV Hawks were never really challenged in this game, limiting the JV Raiders to 6 made field goals overall, and only 6 points in the second half. The JV Hawks again had balanced scoring with 13 players in the point column, and all 14 players recording at least one rebound.
The JV Hawks continue their homestand, next Tuesday, 1/24/2012 vs. the JV Majors of Mt. Vernon HS. The Majors will be looking to get back at the JV Hawks, after Hayfield defeated them at home earlier this season. Please come out and cheer on our boys!
