A fast start had the Hawks down by as many as 8 early in the contest, but team defense slowed the charge and the Hawks were able to cut the deficit to one heading into halftime. After the break, the Hawks were able to handle Edison's 3/4 court pressure and the offense erupted. Led by Dajuan Johnson's 12 second half points, the Hawks sealed the deal with a 65-51 win. Arrington Lyons and Scott Woods chipped in with 7 and 6 second half points, respectively.
