JV Cougars Battle JV Hawks
Hayfield’s JV Hawks had kept the stronger JV Cougars at bay for most of the game, until a flurry of goals in the 4th quarter, provided the 11-1 winning margin for the JV Cougars. After 3 quarters, it was 5-1 Oakton, but Hayfield seemed to be finding its groove. Unfortunately, as the 4th quarter hit, the very tired/exhausted JV Hawks hit that wall, and the JV Cougars capitalized. Hayfield’s JV runs with 14 players on average, leaving little room for error! JV Captain Soufiane Haydadi, scored Hayfield’s lone goal early in the contest. Haydadi has been a true inspiration to the JV Hawks, playing minute after minute despite fasting throughout the day! Haydadi has scored in 3 straight games!
