JV Hawks Storm Back to Tie JV Atoms
Trailing by 2 goals (7-5), with just over 2 minutes to go in the game, the JV Hawks found a little something extra! Fr. Jacob Valles (3 goals), who is tied with Jr. Ryan Berman (3 goals) as the scoring leaders (both with 5 goals on the season) for Hayfield JV, brought Hayfield to within one (7-6). Then the Hawks stood their ground and repeated turned away Annandale’s attempt to lengthen the lead. With less than a minute left, So. Josh Berman (1 goal) got free on the break, to score his first goal of the season, knotting the game at 7-7!
Jr. Soufiane Haydadi, celebrating Eid, chipped in with end to end spirited play, and 1 assist, as did Fr. Landon Patoir (1 assist, 3 ground balls), and Jr. Jack Jette (1 assist)
