In what was supposed to be a tight contest, BOYS VARSITY TENNIS comes out smokin' to defeat Mt.Vernon 8-1 in a true team effort. Singles winners . . . junior Liam Coghlan (10-0), sophomore Saria Alshaikhali (10-1), sophomore Joon Kim (10-2), senior Ethan Hawn (11-9), and senior Jimmie Linza (10-0). Doubles winners . . . Coghlan and Kim (8-2), Alshaikhali and junior Robert Neff (8-5), and senior Eiffel Shrestha with sophomore Isaiah Mamo (8-6). The team travels to MV on Monday in a rematch of these two friendly rivals.
