The Kansas City Stampede drew teams from throughout the country. GA, TN, MO,OK, TX, KS to name a few. The finals included numerous Fargo All Americans, Super 32 place finishers, and nationally ranked individuals. The team drove across the country (17 hours) and was able to enjoy some of the famous Kansas City barbecue. The tournament had a format in which each wrestler was placed in one of eight 4 man pools. The winners of each pool were placed in an 8 man Gold bracket. Second place finishers were placed in the Silver bracket. Hayfield Senior Antonio Agee captured first place in the Gold bracket. Junior Grant Saunders placed 3rd in the Silver Bracket. Wrestlers got as many as 8 matches during the two day event.
