In a Monday night ceremony at Lake Braddock Secondary, five Hayfield Hawks softball players were honored as 2009 Patriot All-District 1st Team selections. Also recognized was Coach Ron Giovannucci who was named Patriot Co-Coach of the Year. Jennifer Windau and Samantha Perry-Shifflett were also named to the 2009 All-District Tournament Team.
