Senior pitcher Jennifer Windau capped her record-breaking season by being named to the 2009 Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention Team. Windau set Hayfield season records for wins (18), strikeouts (241), and ERA (0.61), and was an offensive leader as well with a .446 batting average and a team-leading 20 RBI's. The All-Met team is chosen from over 250 high schools in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Windau was also named to the all-Region 1st Team and the Northern Region all-Tournament team.
Freshman 2B Amber Fowler and junior OF Hannah Williams were named to the all-Region 2nd Team.
