Five MatHawks placed in the top 8 at the Hopewell Wrestling Classic. Sahid Kargbo placed 4th at 138 lbs, Matthew Allan finished 5th at 160 lbs, Mark Allan finished 7th, Paul Strawderman finshed 8th at 220 lbs, and Cordell Soulieau finished 5th at Hwt. As a team the Hawks finished in 14th place. Colonial Forge won the team title followed by Cox, and New Kent.
