Head Coach Nicholas Ambrose will be entering his third year with Hayfield Secondary High School Swim & Dive. This will be his second year as head coach with the 21-22 season. Coach Ambrose has been a life long swimmer. He started swimming club back in elementary school. Coach Ambrose swam for the Potomac Marlins and then for Arlington Aquatics Club. He swam at multiple state level competitions as well as winter classes and much more. He swam all the way through high school. At the end of his senior year he held multiple school records. Coach Ambrose holds multiple swimming certifications with the American Red Cross and USA Swimming. Coach Ambrose specializes in stroke development & technique development. Coach Ambrose has been teaching swimming for the past 7 years, teaching all levels from infants to seniors. Coach Ambrose embraces the importance of helping each athlete succeed both in and out of the water. His mentality and determination to the athletes has made him a strong member of the school and a strong addition to the coaching staff.
