Hayfield Softball asserted their will over Annandale on their way to an easy 11-1 victory. Hayfield put up four runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by a walk by Chrissy Cobbs, a fielder's choice by Emily Lampela, an error on a ball put in play by Madison Moon, and a double by Nekia Aiken.
Jazmynn Adams was in the pitcher's circle for Hayfield. The pitcher allowed four hits and one run over six innings, striking out three.
Hayfield Softball tallied three home runs on the day. Adams in the second inning, and Cobbs and Nair in the third inning.
Hayfield softball racked up eight hits in the game. Lampela and McGillin all had multiple hits for Hayfield, each collected two hits to lead the team. Madison Moon is credited for the walk-off RBI to end the game.
