Softball Hawks pull one out against West Springfield, 3-2

The Hawks went into the seventh inning with a 1-0 lead. West Springfield plated two runs in the top of the seventh. The Hawks entered the bottom of the 7th with the heart of the batting order coming to the plate. Sam Perry-Shifflett reached base on a lead off walk. Kelsey Talbot tripled scoring Sam to tie the score. Megan Perry-Shifflett hit in the game winning run with a sharply hit ball to short allowing Kelsey to score. The defense was led with a strong pitching performance from Jennifer Windau while Allyson Lohr and Sarah Marino combined for 6 putouts and 6 assists :-)
