Bulldogs Snap Hawks Win Streak at 1
Hayfield played a gritty rain-soaked game last Friday night, struggling to get anything going on offense against the heavily favored visiting Bulldogs of Westfield HS. Goalie Aiden Freeland had another strong game in net, stopping 15 Bulldog shots, limiting the Bulldogs to 2 first quarter goals. Hayfield never gave up, playing opening whistle to closing horn, and earned some respect from the visiting coaches in the meantime. Sr. Captain Thorsten Muehlbauer added to his season point total, with (1 goal and 1 assist), and Fr. Midfielder Kyle Marshall scored his 2nd goal of the season.
