Yorktown scored in the first inning but the Hawks came back and ended the game with the 10 run mercy rule in the 6th inning. Taylor Neuhart struck out 12 and scattered 7 hits. She also doubled and scored the 11th run. Bonnie Schipper singled and doubled driving in 3 runs, she also threw out a runner trying to steal second base. Summer Scott had a double and 2 RBI's. Brittani Garza singled and drove in 2 runs. Summie Smith doubled and had two RBI's.. She also stole a base. Kat Motsko singled. Taryn McElhenny and Caroline Ramos each had an RBI. Madison Nowland had a single. Katelyn Thorne stole second.
