Taylor Neuhart struck out ten batters and allowed one hit, a triple to Logan Phillips. Taylor also had two doubles and an RBI. Catcher Bonnie Schipper had a double and two singles driving in 4 runs. Bonnie also made a nice play on catching a short foul pop-up. Katelyn Thorne had two singles. Amber Fowler drove in 2 runs. Katie Venne had a single and one RBI and turned in a double play by catching a line drive and throwing to first for the second out. Lead-off hitter Taryn McElhenny had an RBI. Summer Scott had a double down the right field line. The speedy Summer Smith bunted and made it to third base with an overthrow to first base. She then scored on a passed ball. Caroline Ramos put down a sacrifice bunt. Madison Nowland reached based by hitting a line drive off of the pitcher's glove.
