Taylor Neuhart pitched a no-hitter and struck out ten batters. Taylor had two triples, a single and a walk off grand slam home run to finalize the score 10-0. Taylor had a total of 6 RBI's for the game. Amber Fowler had two singles and a double driving in 3 runs. Amber's first double just missed going over the centerfield fence. Katelyn Thorne and Bonnie Schipper each singled. Summer Scott had a ground out RBI. Taryn McElhenny had a sacrifice bunt placing the speedy Summer Smith in scoring position. Schipper made two nice plays on well placed Mount Vernon bunts. Summer Smith caught a line drive and threw to Taryn McElhenny at second base for a double play. Just to make sure, Taryn threw to first basewoman Summer Scott for the fourth out.
