The extra-inning scoreless game ended in the bottom of the 8th when Madison's Emily Klingeman hit a two run homerun. Avery Neuhart behind a strong defense struck out two and allowed 5 hits. A-J Martin and Avery reached base two times each. Birthday girl Sienna Williams led off the 4th with a single. In the 2nd inning with Madison loading the bases, third basewoman Emilie Becker fielded a ground ball throwing home for the force, catcher A-J then threw to first basewoman Grace Wilsey for the double play.
