Hayfield beat Mount Vernon 6-0 in the NOVA Spring Break Tournament Saturday. Julia Napier earned the win by pitching a complete game no hitter, striking out 1 Major hitter. Avery Neuhart (2 singles, 3 RBI) and Caitlyn Goggin (2 singles) both had multiple hits in the game. Kaylee Shull (single, walk), Sarah Wilsey (single, walk), Melaney Umana (2 walks), Julia Napier (single, RBI), Julia Hurwitz (2 walks), Brooke Solderich (single) and Emma Amacher (walk) all contributed offensively. Emma's walk was the result of a great 10 pitch at bat. The Hawks played a great game on both sides of the ball.
