The Hawks beat Gar-Field 13-1 Thursday night in Woodbridge. Avery Neuhart (2 innings, 2 hits allowed, 3 strike outs) and Tiffany Posey (3 innings, no hits allowed, 1 walk, 4 strike outs) shared duties in the circle for the Hawks.
Grace Wilsey (double, 2 singles, 3 RBI) had three hits in the game for the Hawks. Sarah Wilsey (double, single, 2 RBI), Avery Neuhart (2 doubles, 2 RBI) and Tiffany Posey (2 singles) each had two hits for the game. Julia Napier (triple, RBI), Melaney Umana (single), Caitlyn Goggin (single, RBI), Julia Hurwitz (walk, RBI) and Kaylee Shull (walk, RBI) also contributed offensively.
The Hawks defense played error free softball in the winning effort.
