Hayfield lost to Chantilly HS in the last game of the NOVA Spring Break Tournament Tuesday. Tiffany Posey pitched a complete game allowing 11 hits and striking out 7 Charger hitters.
The Hawks struggled at the plate. Tiffany Posey (double) and Caitlyn Goggin (single) had the only hits for Hayfield in the game. Caitlyn also had a stolen base.
Julia Hurwitz threw 2 lead runners out on ground balls from third base.
