The Hawks beat West Potomac 3-2 Friday evening to increase their conference record to four wins without a loss. Avery Neuhart pitched a complete game four hitter, striking out nine WestPo hitters and allowing one walk.
Julia Napier (double, single) and Grace Wilsey (2 singles, RBI) both had multiple hits in the game. Avery Neuhart (single), Tiffany Posey (single, 2 RBI), Julia Hurwitz (single) and Kaylee Shull (single) also contributed offensively. Posey and Shull also had stolen bases in the game.
The Hawks runs were all the result of two out rallies and the defense played a strong game. It was a great game on both sides of the ball.
